<description>I think your take on this could be exactly right. I haven't followed the link and read the blog, but it would be in accordance with most adult attitudes. I know, I've been in education for 39 years, mostly in a Montessori school I founded, but also in public middle school in Los Angeles.

I'm working to ensure a democratic approach to the relationship between all adults and all kids, starting in the home, extending to the school and wherever else kids spend time.

I call the Root Cause of all the problems, troubles and struggles that develop between kids and adults: Silent Slavery (by the way, that's the title of the first chapter of my main book). I became aware of this in 1975, but at that time I didn't know how to solve this, so I kept it to myself.

In my Montessori training course, my trainer mentioned &quot; The Tyrrany of Adulthood,&quot; another name for it. I also talk about this in my book.

Now I DO have a solution! It works and kids love it, so do the adults who try it. It gets to the root of the problem and fixes it. It won me a spontaneous standing ovation in a classroom of elementary age kids! One of my proudest moments.

I would love to partner with your organization, NYRA. I can send you any more information you would like. I know we can eliminate all of the deliberate harm done to the youth of this world! Imagine that kind of world...
